I'm not trying to say the title is irrelevant, but that I see more than fear in this. I was personally reminded of this one collaborative writing experience where I was one of the rebels (it's like acting/roleplaying but with emphasis on writing) and my character would conceal himself to do his rebellion-related jobs.
The whole thing was due to slavery, and there's a whole background story to that, but like in this picture, my guy
